Objective: Explain the connection between colonization of Africa and major issues facing African nations; complete your letter to ambassador Rice.
Classwork: We worked a little bit more on taking notes and finished the first page of the pink note paper (the sections on Political Turmoil, AIDS, and Child Soldiers), then spent 30 minutes of class in the computer lab.
Homework: FINISH YOUR AFRICA LETTER! You must turn in the final copy WITH the Rubric (you should have already graded as well as one other person) AND your blue research packet.
optional EXTRA CREDIT: Your theme project on the same African country as in your research can be completed for up to 25 points of extra credit!
